[ It's cold out. It's cold, and Arietta doesn't know where she is. What she does know is she shouldn't be here. This isn't the Isle of Feres, and she's not wearing her clothes anymore. She doesn't have the bandages anymore, and there's a small red spot on the side of her sundress where one of her wounds has reopened.

But it's cold and she showed up near the edge of the village, so at the moment she's tentatively picking her way around the buildings and trying to find one that looks unoccupied so she can head inside and warm up. ]

But you're bleeding. You should at least put some bandages over it.

[He looks down at her, trying to meet her eyes. He's really trying to push aside how uneasy this makes him and give her a warm, hopefully-comforting smile.]

We'll go together, all right? There's a place not too far from here with-- people who can help.

... Alright.

[ And Arietta smiles up at him. She's still not sure this isn't a dream. But if Ion insists, she'll go along with him.

She lets go, but she's still standing rather close to him. ]

[If Arietta is afraid of there being distance between the two of them, she doesn't have to worry. After seeing her burst into tears like that, knowing what she must know, the least he could do is hold her hand while they walked. Which is what he's going to do.]

[But the question was: where should he take her? House One was the closest, yes... but was it really all right to bring Arietta into their home? She still considered half of it's occupants to be her enemy...]

[...but she was cold. And wounded. And still no doubt disorientated from arriving. He's not about to make her walk across the village.]

[So, House One it is! Hopefully, at the very least, Anise wouldn't be home.]

[ He could lead her to the ends of the planet and she'd follow as long as Ion was holding her hand.

For two years, what she's wanted has been nothing more than this. She's disoriented, and confused, and in more pain than she's letting on, but Ion's here, he's paying attention to her, he's with her, again, finally.

It's been so long since she was this happy. ]
